We’re looking for a full stack web developer who is team-oriented with great communication skills, able to juggle multiple tasks, and with excellent architecture, testing and programming skills. We expect passion for user interfaces and that you take pride in attention to detail in all parts of your work.

Your responsibilities include working with other team members to design and develop new features, diagnose performance issues and maintain the product.

You love creating elegant, efficient code but also have a strong passion for product design. You should enjoy discussions on product strategy, feature prioritizations etc. We desire input as well as output.

We would love a fast learner but are right now looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

Our stack currently consists of MongoDB, Redis, Rails 3.2, Ruby 1.9.3, jQuery (CoffeeScript).

Key Requirements

• +2 years of Ruby on Rails experience. Rails 3 experience required.
• +1 year of JavaScript experience. (We love CoffeeScript).
• Good knowledge of Ruby metaprogramming techniques.
• B.S. in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English primarily).
• Solid RSpec experience.
• Good experience with caching and web performance / scalability.

Bonus if...

• Experience interacting with and designing APIs.
• Experience handling high traffic loads / scaling.
• jQuery / CoffeeScript. Backbone.js or similar experience a plus.
• Linux system administration experience.
• MongoDB / mongoid experience (or other NoSQL experience).
